AWESOME WEEKEND

My 3 day weekend could not have gone better. Allow me to summarize it:

Saturday: Went on a 6 hour shopping trip with mom. Bonded with her :D Got 2 swimsuits--glad that's out of the way! 4 pairs of shorts, and 2 hoodies. The hoodies was a good thing because before I only had one that I wore all the time, eek can't allow people to start tossing me coins.

Sunday: Got the new Green Day CD '21st century Breakdown', was at grandparent's for 5 hours. Sure their loony but a whole lot of fun. And for a 66yr old guy who is French/German/Canadian he made some good Won-Ton soup! Also got a very pretty locket.

Monday (Victoria Day): Proclaimed 'Hermit Day' (stay inside whole day) I played some Sacred 2 though I'm only a beginner and Hermit Day went down the drain! I called one of my best friends (OOMF) Amy up at 12:30 and called Joel at 12:50, meeting at our rendez vous point by 1:20! So unplanned, we had a great time for little money and I didn't get home till 7:30! OOMF Kristina learned to ride a bike which makes me very happy. She will not miss out on the bike tour on our graduation trip in Ottawa.

A great, great, GREAT WEEKEND. I loved it and I find it difficult to blog when you're too pleased to sit in front of a screen and document.

Tomorrow is art and a shot (one's doctors give). I am still waiting impatiently to find out who will be the winner of the yearbook contest and have their drawing used for the cover. Check it out!

Oh yeah, kick A%^

Being an Emcee

I emceed our school's talent show with 2 other people. We've pratised for about a week, using all our nutrition breaks to get it right and what happens? The mike (microphone) doesn't work, or more specifically mine was out of comission. Maybe it was the lights that topped it but my face felt warm for almost the entire time. I stood there alot and tapped the mike alot and spoke before the mike was working. I screwed up alot which was a little upsetting considering how much time I spent inside working on this. Luckily I have an excuse!

TEQ Crew.

Curse them and their inability to raise currents, pull over unneeded podiums, get art slide shows to play and get microphones to work! I can only hope they work out all the kinks and if not I always have my fabulous dance-on-the-stage-like-a-whacko-while-the-performer-is-performing-on-the-ground. I will still be bored but if Tight Wad (fellow emcee whom cannot stand my dancing nor my 'cliches' and will raise agrument if I do not stop) lets me dance in peace, all will be ok.

And hey, being emcee gives me experiance in something that doesn't require reading books and something to put on a drama or public speaking application!

Wish me luck as I do it all over again in an hour with more success, more fun and less...

My classmates are cavemen, and freedom in an appointment

School was...pleasent. Pleasent that is, is what I consider all my days that weren't outragously great or horrible. After my clay treasure chest's bottom blew out I managed to redo it and hopefully it will be fine. Apparently the 1st model explosion was something of a random event and because the only excuse for it blowing up isn't mentally acceptable I'll just agree with my art teacher's excuse and hope that treasure chest 2.0 has a better fate.

The rest of the classes went fine, pratised hurdles which I enjoyed. Now something I'd like to point out is that there is a group of girls (plus one guy who can easily pass for a girl) that constantly make jokes surrounding myself. Today it was their visual of how I'd do hurdles, not that they'd know because only 10 girls actually showed up and boys werent allowed! Also my running and shot put technique were scrutinized. Some would call this bullying I call it cavemen trying to make a rock funny. See the jokes are nothing like the 'your momma' jokes. Their lame and very uncreative and do not affect my self esteem except that it increases it because I enjoy the attention. As well only this group of 4 or 5 enjoy them, like I said, cavemen.

I say no more.

On a happier note, freedom is scheduled for March 23 2010 on which my braces will come off! See yeah, no more to the wires! I will forever never take flossing for granted again. This is great for me and after having four adult teeth pulled out for the sake of straight teeth I better have a kick ass smile.

Now, I walk the mutt, perhaps fill out this blog a bit better and, like any and every teenager....EAT!

My first blog!

On Kaleb Nation's suggestion I am starting a blog. Nobody will read it but if I hope to improve my writing skills, learn to get people's attention and find out what makes blogs interesting then this is a must. I also want to be able to talk about my school days without boring my family. Consistancy is what I need so I will attempt to post at least once a week and probably more in the first few weeks for the novelty value of it.

I love the name Garbos's Attic, Garbos is a character from a story I and Kristina are co-writing. Garbos is a talking wolf with more words of wisdom than his master Weaver Wingspa. I think Garbos would probably be my favourite character out of the many because he is the opposite of his brother Eveldon. Calm, wise, kind he is the ying in ying and yang. Eveldon however is more of an evil henchman for his master Celebrian which Kristina loves and that is what probably influences my character favourtisim. It's a great story that these characters are one day I'd hope for it to be published though it has a long way to go.

Finished my first blog, 10:25 pm
